Vanilla promotes happiness and joy!
This recipe is simple to make and is very versatile. Add to coffee or hot chocolate for a sweet but subtle vanilla flavor. Easily made in just 3 steps:
1 c. Granulated Sugar to 1 c. of Water and dissolve in a sauce pan. (Vegan option - try this amazing Date Sugar it is sweet and a substitute for traditional sugars/brown sugar)
1 Whole Vanilla bean slice open and scrap out seeds and add both seeds and pod to the sauce pan.
Bring to a boil for about 1-2 minutes, until sugar is dissolved. Can be stored up to 2 weeks in a glass bottle in the refrigerator.
